Girl vanishes on live TV leaving internet guessing

I'm at a loss when trying to figure out what might have happened in this clip that has a woman disappearing.

A video clip from Danish TV2 sport went viral thanks to a “mystery girl” who vanished into thin air in front of the cameras. Even the girl herself can’t say for sure what happened.

In an interview with the coach for Denmark women's national handball team Klavs Bruun Jørgensen, it's the background that is the real interest: there, a woman disappears out of shot in a blink of the eye after another woman obscures here from view. The footage was aired live and there is no evidence it had been edited, media say.

Yes, that video went viral in the last days. I tried to find the original video yesterday but had no luck. Imo the woman behind walks accidentally the same speed as the woman in front and so it seems that she disappears. You can see it a bit that she is preparing herself to walk.

I don't know. When I watch it with the frames slowed down I see something moving between the lady in the front's right arm and torso when she is walking out of the camera angle, and I think it's the 'disappearing' woman's pant leg walking along with her.

Spoiling internet investigators' fun somewhat is the fact that the girl has been found. It is Trine Nielsen (born Jensen), a Danish handball player and TV2 commentator.

“My own belief is that I'm fast like a ninja. But it’s more probable that I was just lucky,” Nielsen told TV2. “It's a fun clip, and I would even laugh if I saw it happen to someone else,” she said of the video.
