Glowing Blue-green Sphere

A Disturbance in the Force
It's been many years, but I once saw a huge glowing blue-green sphere. It was late at night and my brother and I were driving back home from taking my son to the ER. My brother noticed it first. He said, "hey, look over there", I turned to look out the window and there it was, just floating across the sky. It disappeared behind the trees after a couple of minutes. And I have to say that the strangest part of it was my reaction to it. I had always thought that if I ever seen something like that I would be in awe, or maybe even start freaking out a little bit. But I felt a calmness, like it was nothing, as natural as the trees it disappeared behind. Afterward, I was slightly disturbed by my reaction.
So I'm wondering if anyone else has ever seen something similar? I've heard of lights and triangular shaped objects being seen, but never a glowing sphere that looked like some alien planet.

I haven't seen anything like that ever, but there is a big possibility that it was some kind of a plasma in a shape of a sphere.
THere are a lot of electrical, magnet and climate changes happening on earth right now and there is a big possibility that it was some kind of a plasma discharge phenomenon.
Also, there is always a possibility that it was a UFO also.

If you search on SOTT about plasma you can find a lot of strange phenomena connected to plasma on our planet, our atmosphere and in the whole solar system in general.

Here I will send you few links.

I've never seen one but have heard several reports from people who have. The blue-green orb seems to be a common sighting. Anything unusual about the area you saw it in?

The last report I heard recently was from a local woman who is a Dolores Cannon hypnotist and treats people with this method. She said Dolores visits her in the form of a blue-green orb, and so continues her work on Earth. :)

More numerous reports I've heard where in an area that had high UFO activity and also hot springs.

This happened on highway 27 in Scott County, TN. We were driving back north into Kentucky and it was on a stretch of the road that had no homes, just country. It was maybe a little over 100 yards away from the road and floated parallel to it. It looked about 20-30 times larger than the moon, like I said, huge. It wasn't really bright, but glowed enough to be seen in the dark. So I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Chinese lantern or a hypnotist, however that calmness I felt was from it being extremely hypnotic. I'm not sure if that area would be considered a high UFO activity area, but there was a lot of very strange things that we had noticed around the area where my parent's home was. Needless to say, I haven't exactly been eager to share the many strange things I've witnessed. So I really appreciate having somewhere that I can, and also appreciate all the feedback. :)

Hi, Thanks for the more, detailed description of the orb. I'd be interested in hearing about the other strange occurrences in this area if you'd like to write about them. It's also interesting you felt calmness and the hypnotic affect. Sensing the energy of the orb perhaps.

Here is one blue orb report I was told and it involves the psychic perceptions of a child. This was a rural area outside Taos NM and was known for strange phenomenon including UFO's, also near a hot spring. One night, the 3 year old granddaughter of a friend was very insistent that her father take her outside for a walk. He brushed her off several times but the child was so insistent he finally gave in. They walked for awhile and the father was ready to turn back but the child insisted they continue on and pulled him in a certain direction . They stopped at the edge of a ravine which over looked a small stream of water that drained from the hot spring pool nearby. There, they saw a glowing, blue orb hovering above the stream and this was what the child had wanted to see. They watched it for awhile then turned back. In the same location, another resident described chasing a blue orb in his truck down the dirt road that led to their homes.

Hi, I haven't seen a blue-green orb but a couple years ago I did see several glowing orange orbs which I wrote about here on the forum. I remember being pretty calm too when I saw them. It wasn't until after that I was kind of scrambling to find out what I had seen.

After reading your post, I was recently reading up again about the orange orb phenomena and found a collection of articles about orbs including some mention of blue orbs at the site: http://www.worldufowatch.com/

At the site there is also an article titled 'Orange Orb Appearances and Behaviors' written by Robert Spearing, MUFON Field Investigator, NJ and publisher, that I found especially interesting because of the connection he makes between orbs and phosphorus. For example, he writes:

I scoured the internet for clues and came upon several New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection documents that led me to believe the common denominator was high phosphorus levels from farm fertilizer runoff into these creeks. Orbs seemingly are attracted to phosphorus! This would explain the Gloucester/Camden County cluster well enough but would the theory hold up for the other clusters?
