The moon is waxing Gibbus tonight, and very very bright. We are dog sitting and were settling Rocky in, when I looked up at the sky and saw planes passing overhead, leaving sparkly, glowing contrails behind them in the dark.
It was kind of pretty, and if you are out in the country far enough, go take a look-see at the sky and see if its happening where you are.... We had a nice clear night here, and it was very weird looking. I can't remember ever seeing contrails at night like this before, especially not sparkly...like muted fireworks.
