Golden statue of Netanyahu in Tel-Aviv

One artist in Israel, in order "to test the limits of free expression", at night put on the main square of Tel-Aviv a "golden" statue of Netanyahu. It didn't take long for it to be removed. ;) The idea is stupid, of course, but still, I like the symbology of psycho Netanyahu with delusions of grandeur being removed from up high, and his head being detached. ;)

Hm, I think that leader of my country would actually love to have something like that. :D
He is already comparing himself with Tito. Here is a caricature that is inspired by one of his speeches where he said that he will build more roads than Tito: http://www.politika.rs/thumbs/upload/Satire/Image/2016_12//672x672_Sassa-Dimitrijevich-Asvaltiranje.jpg

This news immediately reminded me of a recent report on SOTT:

Got a little concerned when I saw the title, before I had a chance to see it's posted in the Tickle Me section. :scared:
But the video made it all worth it, like you said the symbology of him being removed from up high and his head getting detached. :cool2: :D
Thanks for sharing, Keit!

Thanks for sharing and it gave me a good laugh too when the staue fell to ground and it is also good to know that many people disagreed and took it down immediately.

I agree with you Keit, certainly the author's idea is stupid. This event prove nothing about free expression... anyway, like many of you, it was nice to see the symbolic fall to groud of this thing man. :P Thanks for that!
