The Force is Strong With This One
Ogopogo or Naitaka (Salish: n'ha-a-itk, "lake demon") is the name given to a cryptid lake monster reported to live in Okanagan Lake, in British Columbia, Canada. Ogopogo has been allegedly seen by First Nations people since the 19th century. The most common description of Ogopogo is a 40 to 50-foot-long (12 to 15 m) sea serpent.
Satellite images show a lot of giant snakes, ranging in size from 20 to 200 meters.

British cryptozoologist Karl Shuker has categorized the Ogopogo as a 'many hump' variety of lake monster, and suggested it may be a kind of primitive serpentine whale such as Basilosaurus. However, because the physical evidence for the beast is limited to unclear photographs and film, it has also been suggested that the sightings are misidentifications of common animals, such as otters, and inanimate objects, such as floating logs.

Looked like a wave to me! But, who knows. The Okanagan is where I live, so I'll keep an eye out. I do see a truck with 'Cryptozoology' lettering on the side from time to time, driving around Penticton.

Yeah. In no way did it look like a giant serpent.

What'd ya think of the scenery though, I'm blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Interestingly, the side of the lake you're looking at, which is the east side probably from Peachland, used to be the Pacific coast!

Omak Lake, a much smaller lake to the south of Okanogan Lake is also said to have creatures of unknown type living in it. The objects in this video look more like enormous tapeworms than snakes...
