Here the list of top searches according to google. I find it a bit curious (well, not the celebrity search results ).

Google.com
1 bebo
2 myspace
3 world cup
4 metacafe
5 radioblog
6 wikipedia
7 video
8 rebelde
9 mininova
10 wiki

Google News
1 paris hilton
2 orlando bloom
3 cancer
4 podcasting
5 hurricane katrina
6 bankruptcy
7 martina hingis
8 autism
9 2006 nfl draft
10 celebrity big brother 2006

Hahah! My number one search on google and yahoo (images) I think was "Bush Demon" ":D" sorry... though it is a fact.. I couldn't resist. I wonder what the average Sign's readers or forum members would be.

Editing your Google news one
1. Sex
3. Health
5. Tragedy
6. No Jobs
10. What am I supposed to think of my governement again? :)

I dunno what celebrity big brother is. But it went good with the definition I came up with, osit.

Thanks for the observation Keit... 'a bit curious' seems to be an understatement. No way that 'wikipedia' or 'bankruptcy' even have the slightest chance of becoming top 10 searches worldwide. After observing the even more silly Dutch zeitgeist, I wonder which Google employees were gathered to get this job done.

Actually, "metacafe", "bankruptcy" and "rebelde" has caught my eye. Where is YouTube? And what is this "rebelde" anyway? Apparently it's some brazilian soup opera. Doesn't sound way TOO popular to me to be on a top list (I wonder if even "days of our lifes" could ever hit this list :D ) And what about "hurricane katrina"? It's not on the news lately...
Looks fishy to me and looks like a cheap attempt to shape public opinion.

Well, YouTube might popup sooner than you wish (as consumed by Google itself). But entering 'Wikipedia' in a search query definitely makes no sense, because you'll get it for free anyway (as consumed by Google itself ;-)

hmmm - mine is usually "other search engines" - but for some reason, it doesn't come up with much...

google up 'miserable failure'
We all know what the top result is, but I was suprised by the others:
First is the official biography of President Bush; Second is the official biography of President Carter; and third is Michael Moore's homepage :).
