I enjoyed this book titled, "Griftopia: Bubble Machines, Vampire Squids, and the Long Con that is Breaking America" by Matt Taibbi. I recently saw Keith Olberman interviewing Matt Tiabbi after the elections and really enjoyed what he had to say regarding the Tea Party. The first chapter in his book is his experiences following the Tea Party since he writes for Rolling Stone magazine. The chapter had some laugh out loud insanity descriptions of certain events regarding his experiences covering and interviewing different people. The second chapter was all about Alan Greenspan and I was surprised by the Ayn Rand connection. The other chapters do an excellent job of describing the mortgage scandel and describing CDO's, CDS's, and the like. He discusses the Sovreign Wealth Funds and ends the book discussing Goldman Sachs. Matt Taibi did an excellent job describing the staggering amount of fraud and little or no policing of the system. A fascinating read.
