Help Choosing a Name

I need your help chosing a name. I am planning to write a blog where I can share my experience with autoimmune diseases, what I am doing to recover, paleo recipes, health articles, all in Spanish. I have become a detective searching all the toxic ingredients that are in food, makeup, personal care products. In Mexico there are a lot health-coach bloggers sharing detox plans, vegan recipes, health products, travels but none of them share facts so that´s why I want to include articles.

Which of these names do you like?

Pick a name with your main topics that might be searched on google.

As Laura wrote, you might get hits just from including rheumatology, auto-immune and alternate in the name (somehow). I don't particularly like those names you offered. Some depends on your target (geographic) market.

That is very good to hear! Perhaps adding in the description the holistic approach towards putting into remission autoimmune diseases. Your story will be great to hear!

Hello ClaudiaYG, I also was not too keen on the choices you gave, and tend to agree with Laura and Yupo. My choice would be "Autoimmune Recovery", but I don't know what that would look like in Spanish.

I am in agreement with the others. What about a title along the lines of: "My journey to recovery from debilitating autoimmune disorders", "Debilitating autoimmune disorders no more", "How I won the war against autoimmune disorders" or maybe a more humorous one, whatever is the appropriate translation in Spanish "From basket case to health and sanity".... something like that? I am using "autoimmune" in all the above, because a lot of people struggle with them, and it is a specific condition compared to talking about "detox", or "wellness" etc which are very general terms and there are so many other sides talking about these things already anyway. But you can replace "autoimmune" with "chronic pain" or any other specific symptom (or a combination of them) that people who don't know they have an autoimmune disease might search for.

I think your idea for a blog is great, many people could benefit from your experience. Titles along the lines of what I mention above are usually the ones that grab my attention because I want to learn from people who had a condition and have won over it, what their journey to recovery was like and what it involved, what they found, the mistakes they made etc. For what is worth.

Yeah, indeed, maybe if it's the name of the site, then better use simple keywords like "heal autoimmune", "stop autoimmune", something a person would be looking for on google. And as others mentioned, in the title of the blog also use "autoimmune disease or disorder". fwiw.

Hello again! I have a new name idea, How about tribeautoimmune in spanish is tribuautoinmune.
I thought this name because we are a lot with a autoimmune condition and we have a lot in common.
What do you think?

I'm not Spanish so I don't know and probably should not be advising you, but if you're interested, I do have a idea or two.

If you're not satisfied with the suggestions so far, why not go ahead and post a variety of stuff somewhere and host a poll, survey or something and invite suggestions from your target audience. If nothing seems to get much attention or support, then maybe do a survey of people to find out what information they would like to easily find.

Sometimes this kind of research is the hardest and most time consuming part of the job, but if you're able to change the name on demand, then you could go ahead and build the blog with any name and change it later.

FWIW, I like names like:

toxic detective
toxic planet
autoimmune detective
autoimmune solutions
tribal immunity
something with the word "explorer" in it.

...stuff like that that sounds interesting and suggestive. Google friendly keywords can still be coded into the meta tag of individual web pages that you want to load for particular search terms.

With respect to the word "autoimmune", it appears the most common, most popular or most used search term trending on Google right now is simply "autoimmune disease", FWIW.
