dear friends, this is about Higher self. I translated it from my native tongue. My english is not good but i guess you ll get something from it.

YOUR HIGHER SELF

Your higherself is an evolving, dynamical life power consciousness. He exists in the realm where all beings are in multi dimensional consciousness. He sends you impulses to love others and to unify with them.

He knows the order and light, when you add what he considers to your life, it means you are acting as your Higher self.

Your higher self knows why you confront your difficulties and struggles. Your Higher self is the exact essence of who you are and possess the accumulation of all your incarnations. He is wise teacher in you. Your Higher self doesnt know what is boundary and isn’t related to any role you are playing. As you add hid high vibrations to your body and all your energy system he can heal and help you evolve.

Your Higher self talks with you through your intuition and emotions in general. He at the same time may communicate with you through weird coincidences and timings, he can send any message you want to hear through people, newspapers, books, movie films and like this. As you strengthen your connection with your Higher self, you will witness increase of your insights, intuition, inspiration and surprises that may seem like coincidences.

By having connection with your Higher self your may have tremendous leap in your spiritual growing. Some of you may begin to have this connections by dreaming to speak with a wise counsellor or teacher and getting advices.

You will begin to experience emotions, thoughts and wisdom of your Higher self directly and to be your Higher self more and more and this will be your continous state.

You can be anytime your Higher self. Your Higher self is your expanded, loving, wise, compassionate self. When you are focused on things you are doing, talk with your heart or gets creative insights you already are Higher self. At the moments when you work with light, become a mediator to others ascension or concentrated on how to give service to create change in the world, you become Higher self.

We will help you to understand how it feels to live as your Higher self and to carry His grander light to all areas of your life. When you acknowledge the moments you are your Higher self, you will live them more.

Spiritual growing becomes realized with the contacts with your Higher self more frequently and allowing to manage all areas of your life. When you take a step to Spiritual growing path, to search, learn, discover the being that you are and explore the mysteries of the universe, you will never be the same again. You may stop for some times or decide to decelerate, but when you taste the joy of growing you wont want to be immobilized for long time.

What are your thoughts on how we can make a connection with our Higher Self?

From another perspective, in ancient Hawaiian Huna, the prime directives of Aumakua (Higher Self) are given as follows:

Guardian Spirit (over the individual) "Totally trustworthy parential spirit"
God Spirit in the individual
Connection / communication with higher self makes everything OK - everythn=ing the way we want it
Totally balanced male and female energy
An expression of man and womans' own perfection
Our connection to the higher realms of creation
Represents the process of evolution in Huna
Has power to recognize causes (sources of events)
Has the power to remove complexes, fixations and identifications
Had the power to produce attanments (siddhis, etc0 including ESP etc
Has the power to know, predict and affect the future
Doesn't make mistakes
Cannot interfere with conscious mind's free will (must be asked)
Is all forgiving, because we are all one
Conscious mind has free will to deny Prime Directives of Aumakua (and just might do it)

I learned how to do it when studying Ancient Hawaiian Huna, many years ago. The process involves getting rid of limiting decisions, buffers, etc. Does this sound vaguely familiar to something else that you are aware of? The process 'proper', as it were, involves generating energy to send the higher self - a process called Ha breathin (breathing in through the nose and out via the mouth in the ratio of 1:2. Does this sound vaguely familiar to something else? First of all this is done for at least fifteen minutes, then there is a sequence of four sets of four Ha breathing using a particular 'body posture', followed by three levels of transferring the generated energy from the navel to the crown of the head, when the connection is made. As far as experiencing it, when asking questions of the higher self, I personally received the answers in the form of images or feelings, often both were very subtle and needed translating.

Another method is to sow a 'seed', a prayer (although the prayers that i have come across are far, far inferior to the Prayer of the Soul). Does this sound vaguely familiar to something else?

Since Laura has introduced the Breathing programme that is the subject of this thread I have used Laura's method of initiating 'contact', as it were. It is a much more powerful process in my opinion, as there is much more happening at once, and with much more behind it - as Laura has explained earlier. I am happy to stay with the breathing meditation programme, and to see what transpires.

A: You already do this without inquiry.

I can't answer your question about the session, but my understanding of the "higher self" is that unless the lower three centers (moving, emotional, intellectual) are functioning and balanced, contact with the "higher self" is impossible. Are you familiar with the Carriage or Coach Parable? The passenger in this parable is synonymous with the "higher self" or the Real I, from what I understand.

Like Ryan, I can't say for sure, but since you invited any input I would offer the following:

Assuming the best case scenario that the C's comment was a direct answer to the question, we might assume that if the receipient's lower self is not aware of what the Higher self has given permission for, then all those conflicting thought patterns in the lower intellectual center might neutralize any possible benefit, thus making the question moot, OSIT. But again, I don't know.

Thanks RyanX, Bud, your inputs put some lights on that. I'm currently reading about some practice of asking "higher self" to get approval when remote spirit releasement is conducting and it seems that practitioners used it without further questioning as something that "must be true" but it seems that there is a lot of room that confusion inside "proxy" can influence final result (received answer).
