Thanks Casper! The PTB are busy!

How come was he able to get on the plane with explosives around his belly? This is a big mystery. :halo:

The EgyptAir suspect is a professor of veterinary medicine, according to reports and his name is Ibrahim Samaha.

Reports are coming in that there are no explosives on board.

This was incorrect. His wife told media it wasn't him, he never had a wife in Cyprus, and he got off the plane with everyone else. The Egyptian govt has apologized for the false identification: https://www.rt.com/news/337516-egyptair-passenger-aircraft-hijacked/

Cyprus govt has id'd the hijacker as Seif Eldin Mustafa: https://www.rt.com/news/337555-cyprus-larnaca-egyptair-hijack/

Poor wrongly accused man and his family, I can only imagine how they felt :(

This is how a REAL "suicide bombing" by a crazy person (only a crazy person would be a suicide bomber) normally develops. That is to say, it goes nowhere. People with the 'professionalism' to actually carry out bombings that kill many people are not 'crazy' in the normal sense, and therefore not 'suicide bombers'.

This was my reaction as well. We are so used to orchestrated "terrorist attacks" that a regular looney almost appears out of place. Strange times we live in.
