Holiday Consumerism

I just found an interesting little article on the inticement of advertisers and how they're amping up their efforts to sell-out Christmas.

Over the course of the past few years I've found their attention to materialism and handing over money beyond irritating.

It seems almost everything is being ruined by consumerism nowadays ya know? No longer seasons greetings and stuff like that, just what did you get me?

Since Coke was successful in making santa claus replacing as popular gift givers to the Magi, has become more focused on consumerism than meet with loved ones. Well, I should say that Roman Christianity replaced other prior festivities. Interestingly, and pathological, is that santa claus finished replacing jesus in holiday. Psychopaths only remember "jesus" to declare war.

It seems like the most people (even non Christians) are hooked on worshiping Santa Clause where they try to mimic the magical being who can provide any gifts their loved ones wish to posses as a form of love. yeah, it is becoming like a religion of consumerism to say the least.

I was extremely shocked the day when I learned the Santa Clause did not exist. I was still young, but it made me really sad to realize other children around the world especially from the poor countries had not experienced a joy on Christmas, nor they had received any presents from Santa. :(
