I saw this on facebook, and thought I'd share as I find it beautiful, and it is really quite amazing the trust there is between the man and the horse

Ahhhh...... love, love, love, a relaxed horse! Thankyou for sharing. Here is one that is a journey of a women to find that peace she left behind as a child to become a professional. I cried several times during it. I grew up with horses and we just were, then later in life I was "trained". All the magic was gone and we were all unhappy. I "untrained" myself and now dance with them. I liked this video because I had to relearn how to breath with them again just like I did as a child.

wow, thanks for sharing Horseofadifferentcolor,
I knew that the normal way of riding horses were abuse (one can see that) but I didn't know they actually got back injuries.

I imagine though that if being with the horse, and never using force, then the horse would let one know when it hurts, so one would jump off.

I had horses as a kid too, and would spend time with them in the fields, mounting them without saddle and whatever it's called in english that is usually put on the head.
But outside the field I'd put on the head thing, and sometimes the saddle. (they loved to run fast, and I couldn't stop them without, which could be dangerous when roads or traintracks crossed the forest paths)

I really miss horses, they are something special, and have a very healing energy, but I haven't been riding (apart from a few times trying it out) since, as I don't want to ride a horse unless it's my friend, and friendship takes spending time together without demanding the horse to work for one, and so I'm waiting to get old and buy a house in the country with enough land to have horses (and I'm almost old, so really looking forward)
:)

Thank you for sharing Miss.K.

The interaction between the man and horse is beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes.

It reminded me of when I get on the floor at home to do my stretching, how my two companion birds come right over to join me. Sometimes they climb up on to me or just stand next to me or crawl underneath me depending what position I'm in. They seem to enjoy it as much as I do.
