Interesting article.

True story:

There is the usual resting time for moms after giving birth to a child in the hospital. Then the nurse came in proudly with a big smile on her face and brought in the wrong baby and laid it in my mothers arms.

You can imagine the situation... Mom smiling too, waiting to embrace the baby :hug2: , relieved that its still in good health... then getting the baby and.. Strange minutes passing. Wonderment.. :/ Looking here and there... Mom finding something strange.., especially after such a painful birth - filled with serious complications, but still delivered the normal way.

She inspecting size and proportions and all.. and finding that the child in her arms is not really resembling the baby she was shown right after birth, who was me by the way... I remembered her telling the story, saying:
- He had big frame and was an ugly baby, different from mine!

So she protested to the nurses  , who, as you can imagine, checked the cribs in the maternity ward and thought about the misplaced name tags and were wondering - WTH happened :umm: and who the heck was in charge at that time in the evening hours (?!) - and very probably asked the nurse, who originally brought me into the nursery to search her memory :ohboy: , where did she put the children after misplacing the name tags?? :osama: There must have been a good amount fiddling and fussing and  then, another child was brought to my mother, this time saying with some newfound confidence:
- This is yours! :headbanger:

My mother took the child and after some inspection agreed this was her child.

So by following RT's advice and website motto to "Question everything", I could be still reasonably a little bit unsure if I am my mothers son, :D. Just kidding.. :) The cause of the delivery complication - big head size - was the unmistakeable proof.

Unless there were a couple of big headed babies born that day with same complications - getting stuck -, I can be reasonably sure, the right baby was given to mom this time.

;D :knitting: :flowers:  :perfect:
