How herpes can be treated?

A Disturbance in the Force
Yesterday afternoon I was forced to move all through std tests by my sex lover. The fact is that I had slept with 13 guys before him. His request became not a subject of his suspicion, he desired to identify my wellbeing condition. Everything was clear for my experience. Doing it wasn't extremely difficult. Nevertheless it turned into a tragedy after we got results, which have been sure for herpes. I might not believe and immediately called my previous boyfriend Alexandro (he is born in Greece), nevertheless news I got to know was more awful. He explained that he was tested intended for sexually transmitted desease last day and all was ok. So, the trouble could be in my boyfriend! What could I take?!

Welcome to the forum Marly78 if you like you could introduce yourself in the Newbies section and tell us how you found this place.

To the herpes issue, as far as I know about 90% of the people have the virus and at some times it can "break out" so to speak and could also relate to other things like stress etc. On the other hand, having that many boyfriends without safe sex is kind of really risky if not stupid, since you don't know these persons.

Hi Marly, please check out the health section of the forum, and try using the search function for herpes in case it came up before. It is possible that a combination of vitamins (like C and D), supplements, and perhaps even DMSO could make a dent, but I'd advise you to experiment only after you have read up on these subjects (there is a lot of information here on the forum about them), so you don't accidentally cause any harm. Welcome to the forum!

Herpes can be transmitted even with the use of a condom, so Marly78 could've been having "safe sex" with all her partners yet still contract it.

Facts about using condoms to prevent herpes transmission:
The herpes virus does not pass through latex condoms
When properly used latex condoms are likely to reduce your risk of spreading or getting herpes, however even the best condoms do not guarantee total safety.
When herpes sores occur in places not covered by a condom the condom is of little help, if any.
Condoms and foams should not be relied upon when herpes sores or symptoms are present.
Condoms do not provide 100 percent protection because a lesion may be found which the condom did not cover. Used consistently, however, condoms are one of the best available forms of prevention.

I don't know Marly78, but I would think that working on having optimal health could possibly help to reduce the outbreaks. There seemed to be some good tips on the site that's quoted above and SAO seems to have given potentially useful leads. Welcome to the forum!

Iodine is a possibility. Not from personal experience, but i can remember people saying it worked on an Iodine forum i once viewed regulary.

Hi Marly78,

Welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry to hear about the virus you have. Sometimes when such things occur, it is a way of our body telling us that we need to stop and listen, and see what we're doing wrong or what we need to pay attention to. You may want to check out the Recommended (Psychology) Books section on this forum, which might help you understand and discover some underlying unconscious issues going on in your life.

I would further recommend you to increase your knowledge on this virus by visiting _http://www.herpes.com and also to talk about it with your doctor.

I'm dealing with the more or less same virus, but mine is located in my eye. The medicine I get from the doctor helps, but what has helped me most have been dietary changes and regularly doing a meditation and breathing program named Éiriú Eolas, which you can find here: http://eiriu-eolas.org/
One of the reasons why this breathing program is important is because it relieves stress. Stress can play a major factor in weakening your immune system, as Gawan also pointed out.

Regarding dietary changes, you can read the books "Life Without Bread" and "Primal Body, Primal Mind" for starters, there is also a thread on this forum where we discuss our experiences and more regarding these changes: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,22916.0.html

I can say from experience that certain proteins found in wheat products (such as gluten) and milk products (such as casein) can make the virus grow stronger. Nuts and seeds are a big no-no too, as they contain a large amount of arginine which is an amino acid that enhances the growth of this virus (and other types of viruses). So eliminating these would be a good start, but please do read the recommended books and do some researching, talking to your doctor etc., before you decide to do anything.

I'm sorry you're going through this. It must be scary. It might be possible you contracted the virus a while ago, since it can go into a dormant state. So, you might have caught it from a previous lover a while ago and then gone through an active, dormant, active phase a few times, depending on when you got it. Since it is highly contagious when it is active, you will need to learn a lot about the virus to know about its cycle and how to govern yourself. It might be a good idea to seek medical help if you have not. Also, it might be a good idea to go contact your previous partners to tell them to get a test. While you might have gotten it from one of them, you might have also given it to one of them.

Looking forward to your introduction when you get a chance.

Avoid foods rich in L-arginine and boost the levels of L-lysine.

Welcome to the forum Marly78.

It must be very distressing for you, I can imagine the shock. I really think you ought to seek professional medical advice.

Do post an intro when you have chance.

For my labial herpes I mix drops of DMSO + aciclovir (cream). It disapear in one day!! when If I use the cream alone it can take until 3-4 days. I don't know if this can be used in the genital area too.

I used to get cold very easily and it lasted for 3-4 weeks with some possible consequences before I was able fully to recover. Often I had a cold along with herpes and sometimes I had two-three herpes fireplaces at the same time on my face (around eyes or lips). As for me, taking daily doses of Vitamin C (2-3 TBSP) and D3 (one 5000UI capsule every 3 days) along with other main supplements helped to get rid of herpes. It has gone 6-7 months now since my last case and I believe that this is the result of the changes in my diet and introducing the supplements.

You may wish to look at the following site to identify what might be the causes of your suffering. There are some quick tests which may help one to identify various deficiencies in our bodies:

There is another thread related to DMSO topic and it confirms the following:

"DMSO mixed with hydrogen peroxide 9% solution has proven highly effective in the treatment of oral and genital herpes when applied topically to the affected areas. Periodic outbreaks of the virus have been known in many cases to cease altogether with regular application."
