I saw this video and think it would make for an informative SOTT entry featuring the video. The creator, HistoryLegends, does a good job of summing up the situation of the Sahel pretty much rooted in colonialism. And also how Wagner was called in to help. It seems many of the African nations around this area are inhabited by Tuareg people and Hausa people, so he points out an ethnic tension fomented by religion.
