When it started out, I was like "crappy quality," but then I factored in that Hubble was upgraded so I waited, and when it got to Messier and the pillars of creation, it was awe inspiring.
Thanks Gonzorama! I've always loved the deep-space stuff that Hubble captures!
Does anyone else ever do this?
While staring at an image such as (my favorite) the Ultra Deep Space image, and first imagining the multitude of life surrounding just one of those tiny points of light, then all the life an interactions within a few star systems, and on and on until the image is still the same, but in your head there's just this overlaying, thin 'filter' 'veneer' or 'dust' of life moving and interacting over the top?
Basically trying to imagine the magnitude of life actually captured, from our one tiny little viewpoint, for just a moment, way out here in the Milky Way. Never to be the same! ...and on and on
(..that akward moment when you realize you've asked if anyone else thinks that extremely 'geeky' thought you do..)
