If it is of any help, I studied with Tad James on one of his visits to the UK, at both Practitioner and Masters level. I rated the training highly. This was many years ago, probably seventeen years ago. I believe he is still going strong.

In my area we have monthly chapter meetings and I would suggest that as a place to start. You can ask local hypnotists for their recommendation. I just took one recently with Cal Banyan and I do recommend you visit www.hypnosiscenter.com for further information. They are having another course this March 1st - 12th.

For me it was much much more than just a certification. It's a journey worth taking.

I do think it is a good idea to get some hands-on training from a qualified hypnotist, but ALSO do a LOT of reading about it so that you have a well rounded education and bag of tricks to draw from in any situation you may encounter. Above all, treat the art as a sacred shamanic function and not a a trick or toy.
