I, pet goat II

I have not posted for a long time, nothing much beyond a breif introduction, but this video has intrigued me.

I have read many commentaries and analyses including the ones linked in previous posts and it seems that there is something there for everyone. The more you look, the more you see. There is so much going on that you physically miss bits due to a different (limited?) frame sequence or something on different viewings or sources. Do you SEE the goat bleat, does the masked figure jump after the towers fall, do you see the missile hit the mosque?

Boiled down, I see first, a great work of art and can't guess who is behind it or what their motives are. That is all really BUT.

After a grand tour of the things that the "alternative brigade - (discretion is all)" are blowing hard about, it offers a vision of an awakening messiah and a new dawn where the icy dark and false icons are replaced by a warm sun and the destruction of previous evil. YOU are not involved! Is it taking the piss with the "Golden Calf's" of the "Messiah"?

My take on it is that the sheep are in their boxes, the goat raises its head and is put back to sleep with the hypnotic vision presented (including this video), and for those who are trying to understand / wake up - a challenge.

The symbology, I think is not greatly important. Universal symbols such as hanged men, burning houses, Psalm 23, ripped flag etc are there at face value. Masonic/occult symbology (of which I am mostly ignorant) invites useless speculation/investigation as to their meaning.

There is a sequence of four paintings called "The Voyage of Life" by Thomas Cole which I don't see in any of the analyses. Could this have been bart of the inspiration behind it, or is it just coincidence.... ~~http~~://www.google.co.uk/search?q=voyage+of+life&hl=en&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=TCw4UIS6KIXL0AX98oGgDA&sqi=2&ved=0CCoQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=896

I apologise for being a bit late on the scene. I only became aware of this video a week ago.

Animated short film about the rising up of spiritual man

Hello Everyone :)

My flatmate has recently shown me an animated short film, I'd like to share: "I, Petgoat II" by Heliofant. http://www.heliofant.com/index.html On their website it reads "There are many themes interwoven into the film, but the main story is about the crumbling away of the hierarchical world based on control and oppression, and the rising up of spiritual man, awake to his divine nature, free of intermediaries, fire in his eyes".

Based in the beautiful Laurentian mountains just north of Montreal, Canada, Heliofant is a nascent independent computer animation studio focused on creating experimental and challenging content. Bringing together artists from the fields of dance, music, computer animation and visual arts, the company is very interested in exploring the common ground that underlies many spiritual and philosophical traditions in a lyrical form.

Personally I find that approach interesting, allthough I don't like the artificial looking aesthetics so much. There are some scenes I don't understand and others, that seem familiar and moved me on an emotional level. In some instances it seems to have stimulated my hope that humanity will evolve to the next level and overcome the controll system. Still I received it with mixed feelings. I'm not sure. What do you think about that short film?

Hello forget-me-not.

Have a look in this topic, which is about the same movie, and where some clues are given!
