Here is a clip I just saw, it features a dog that won't leave his friend behind after the tsunami in Japan.

Humans need help, but what about Pets?? I hope Japanese gov doesn't kill them.

Here's another positive outcome: http://www.theage.com.au/environment/animals/dog-lost-in-tsunami-reunited-with-owner-20110405-1cyyt.html

A dog that was rescued from a floating roof off Japan's tsunami-battered north-east coast was reunited with its owner on Monday, public broadcaster NHK said.

That's amazingly awesome! :) :) :) :)

EDIT: I was referring to psychopaths and pathological people not all humans!!

Thanks for posting this moving and heart warming clip. It seems to me as STO in the 2D world. The dogs companion would have died without him for nobody would have noticed him laying down. He did so well, gaining attention with walking to the rescuers and back to the other dog and when back, comforting him.

EVGV, Yes companion animals are always the last to be considered. That's why I have a bug out bag for my dog packed and next to mine.

Good post.

What I find telling, is that the reporter seems more concerned with hanging about and getting the film footage rather than to actually go help the dog. :(
