I heard some redneck on the radio this morning who basically leveled a threat. He told the radio talk show host that if Bush doesn't sign some executive order regarding the building of a fence on the Mexico border that he and some other land owners who have property along the border will proceed to build their own privately-funded fences on their own private land.
Sheesh. So then what? I suppose they build watch towers, put up some "trespassers will be shot on sight" signs and maybe buy some bulldozers and start pre-emptive missions across the border to tear down towns because "they were thinking about crossing the border illegally so we had to stop them."
