This was really sweet of you angelburst29, to dedicate this to Laura.
An extraordinarily talented group. Wanted to be there in person. I want to watch it a few more times now, it was so good. I'll be on the watch for more music from Celtic Women. Thanks!

This was quite moving, angelburst29. Really beautiful. Thank you.

There is a great documentary on the hymn by Bill Moyers that came out some years ago. It's got some history.

There is some history behind the hymn, Amazing Grace and I think, each of us could write our own chapter.

Laura's work, by the same title, is an extraordinary work - in itself. To read "Amazing Grace" and then read it a second time, but this time - slowly and putting yourself in her place and contemplating what she's feeling on the inside and what going on externally, reveals the strong fortitude of character she possessed in the face of adversity. How many could endure that kind of pressure and uncertainty and still go forward, honoring an inner drive to search out the "truth?" Very few.

The video was very inspirational, for the setting felt so natural and free flowing. The harmonics of their voices, intermingled with the musical instruments, especially the Bagpipe's was excellent. When you think of what it takes to organize something like that, on a large scale and have everything come together - perfectly - it's amazing. By the same token, consider Laura's history and what has been accomplished by pure fortitude, desire and what has materialized in each of our lives, due to her unwavering efforts in search of truth. What she set in motion is coming to fruitation and has multiplied, so we may share. that's a "grace" in itself.

Had read already 'Amazing Grace' and I totally agree with you, did not knew about this Celtic Woman group, lovely performance. Thanks Ennio for the link of the documentary, did not knew much about the hymn either -just the short version-.

I thought this was very well done. Thank you for sharing, angelburst. I thought the bag pipes added a nice touch.

Along with Amazing Grace, Celtic Woman feature, "A Christmas Celebration" album with about 50 minutes of soft Angelic-like music. After Amazing Grace, several selections are offered including the Christmas Album. I plan on having the album play, low in the background, while we have our Christmas Family gathering.

Little will the family know, I'm celebrating "Caesar's Coming-Out-Party!"

Merry Caesarmas, Everyone!
