To my surprise, I recently found out that Father Daniel Maes - interviewed by Sott.net here - has published his War Diary describing his experiences in Syria. It concerns part I: 2010-2013.
As far as I know, it is only available in Dutch (though that may change in the future): Daniel Maes ~ Poetin en Assad hebben ons leven gered
As I was checking out the book, I noticed something interesting. On p.263-264 in the 'Note from the Publisher', the publisher (De Blauwe Tijger) included a list of recommended websites/authors 'that possess unique material and offer interesting opinions'.
In their list of about 40 recommended websites/authors, Sott.net is included.
