Hi all.

I was looking at Gary Varvel's cartoons (he is the author of 'Tin man's oil' cartoon in the latest Connecting the dots) when I saw this:

And this is his comment to the picture.

If you go through my archive you'll find that every summer I have do one of these cartoons. This year the number of homicides has been a little lower than last year. But this cartoon was sparked by 12 homicides in 12 days in Indianapolis.
But apparently 12 wasn't the final number.

Indianapolis - A teenager found shot to death early Thursday morning makes July 2008 the deadliest July in Indianapolis history.

Police are looking for suspects in that teen's murder. Clois Goldsmith, 18, was shot in the head and killed on the city's northeast side.

Residents heard a shot, but the victim wasn't found until later, lying behind a car at Butler Terrace apartments on the northeast side. Police say two men wearing dark hoodies were seen leaving the area after the shooting.

Goldsmith's murder was the 18th for the month of July and pushes the year total to 71, an increase of one from the same time last year.
And this is what C's had to say once about Indianapolis:

C's said:
Q: (L) Can you designate any of the areas where this violence may occur in the near future?
A: Indianapolis.
Q: (A) What is that? (L) Indianapolis is a city in Indiana. Well that's something that has never been mentioned. What kind of violence?
A: Hit by focusing beam of the HAARP array.
Q: (L) Well that's weird. (A) By mistake? An accident?
A: No.
Q: (L) What will be the outcome of Indianapolis being hit by this focusing beam of the HAARP array?
A: Mind controlled violence.
Q: (L) Can we know what form it will take?
A: Shootings.
And this is his other 'Indy Slayings' cartoon.

For those who mistakenly believe that all editorial cartoons are supposed to be funny, this one is not funny. It is intended to be a graphic way of using signs to assess the mood in the city.

It's #010924. Curiously what just follows it's about germ disbursement. Perhaps there's a link here, seen that the recent 'Connecting the Dots' article on SOTT has a whole subtitle about it:

From: 'Connecting the Dots: A New Cold War Meets Chinese Lanterns Flying in the Wind of Change'

#Yet another killer virus

[...]Apart from the obvious - that a killer virus emerging from military bases is highly suspicious - we should take note of its similarity to the Spanish flu of 1918-1919, which also preferred young and healthy victims. Curiously enough, in 2005 a group of scientists were able to recreate the virus.

So far, the only thing that appears to make the Spanish flu much more of a threat than the new virus is that the former was much more virulent. Viruses, though, tend to mutate, and we suggest to keep an eye on this one - just in case the connection with the military is not a mere coincidence, and therefore there is a likely intention of spreading it among the population, especially when taken together with the strange deaths of leading microbiologists. And you can add another to the list.

If such a criminal intention is real, then the criminals, acting from positions of power in the dark, are not dissimilar from the mafia, and like the mafia, it would make sense for them to send violent and intimidating messages to other players if needed. Could it be that the recent case of the two French biochemist students who were murdered in London was meant as a warning of sorts? It is unlikely that the work of any two students alone can make any difference on a global scale. But perhaps the work of the sponsoring institutions - the London Imperial College and the Polytech Clermont-Ferrard - could, or the work of the academic sphere as a whole.

The murder of the students was remarkable because of the apparent lack of motive, the unnecessary and extreme violence used, and the fact that each of them was researching a hot topic of our times: Laurent Bonomo was studying the proteins that cause infectious disease, while Gabriel Ferez hoped to become an expert in ecofriendly fuels.
The session:

Q: (L) Are there going to be any other kinds of
violence, such as bombs or airplanes being flown into
buildings, or release of anthrax, or small pox, or any
other kind of chemical or germ warfare activities. Any
of those?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) Which ones?
A: Fair chance of germ disbursement.
Q: (L) What kind of germ?
A: Influenza.
Q: (L) Do you mean a deadly form of flu?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) But nothing like anthrax or small pox or any of
those really sick ones? Is that it?
A: No. Keep looking and listening.

Very interesting, Keit.
Do you recall what session this excerpt from the C's is from?
Thank you.
Yeah. It was September 24, 2001.

Very interesting indeed. Thanks for keeping your eyes open, people. And so interesting that those predictions, given so many years ago, seem so close to be fulfilled by the way the trends and signs look. The only indefinite variable appears to be 'when', but then again, if time doesn't exist... It's as if a higher density observer could see what's in the road ahead, but it's up to us (the whole of humanity) to move faster or slower in that direction, or even change the course to some extent, or maneuver around the obstacles roughly or gently. Or like a person watching a snail on the ground, moving in zig-zag without any sort of perspective of the general ground around it.

And, could there be a relationship with this item?

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/163603-Indiana-UFO-Invasion

The Indiana incidents began on April 15, 2008, when a number of people living in the northern Indiana towns of Kokomo and Logansport reported seeing strange lights in their skies and the presence of military jets over the next two nights. They also heard what sounded like a huge explosion, followed by the appearance of a giant fireball and debris falling from the sky.

Some said the debris looked like 'spider webs' and resembled a phenomenon known as Angel Hair, a sometimes radioactive substance which has appeared after UFO sightings and landings throughout the years. Most of the material melted or vanished later in the day. The sightings and jet chases were reported over two nights. A military spokesperson later told concerned citizens that the jets were on training exercises and attributed the other events to the dropping of flares.

UFOs -> bad juju -> murders... hmmm...
