Palinurus
The Living Force
Greetings to whom this may concern or interest.
For years I was reading forumthreads as a guest. I used to take one board or subboard (for instance: recent posts) as my 'working base' and proceeded from there to specific threads, opening those in a new tab (I use Opera as browser). The new tab opens next to the one I start from, which itself allways remained unchanged.
Well, doing exactly the same thing while logged in as a registered user I notice a strange difference in the 'working base' board: it changes to the thread I want to read or contribute to, and does not hold on to my starting point anymore. So I end up with two identical tabs next to each other. Which means I now can no longer switch easily between boards/threads but also have to use the backward arrow button constantly to get back to my working base.
This is rather annoying - to say the least; but even more annoying than this little inconvenience is the fact that I cannot explain or comprehend how this minor difference in result can occur - nor am I able to 'undo' this bizar occurrence on my own.
Any suggestions anyone? Help will be much appreciated...
