We'd like to explore the infrasound realm, but Chapparal Systems' Non-Proliferation treaty devices:

Are just out of our league pricewise. Given that, we'd like a knee-point in the repsonse curve < 1 Hz,
and are considering how this could possibly be built? Some of the 'given features' are:
Wind noise reduction, low noise/drift amplifiers... This detector design is key for a number
of purposes, so there is a golden egg out there for someone who can figure out a simple DIY
infrasound sensor. Here's one blurb:

Imagine: smaller than a breadbox, works in air, water, underground.
Four decades of frequency is tough.
