Insight about a dream

I am writing about this dream because I have received great insight about dreams I have described in the past in this section and this is a dream that I have never had before as for as strength of feeling from the dream.

Last night I had a dream that I was in a room with white and red curtains/drapes. When I was looking at the curtains/drapes from about 20 feat away I saw them move like a hand hit them but there was no hand they just moved in this way on their own. Then from the curtain came an "energy" or "vibration" (I dont know what to call it) shooting out after it moved the curtain and it hit me in the leg and I woke up instantly as I was hit in the leg from the invisible thing that moved the curtains that directed itself toward the inner thigh of my leg I woke up in bed and said to myself wow ive never felt anything hit me like that in a dream an invisible force that moved something then directed itself and hit into me.

Any insight about this dream would be great. Thanks

Wow, that's a curious dream. Initially, it sounds like a ghost's trying to scare you. ;)

But staidly, when I work with a dream, I try to understand its symbolism, so I'm seeing your words like "curtains" or "drapes" as something to "hide" or "close". It could also be a "barrier" of sorts. You didn't mention a window, so I'd assume your focus is on the curtains and their "reactions". And, the colors "red" and "white" are interesting - maybe "red" is negative emotions (?) and "white" is positive emotions (?). These may not feel right to you, so what does these colors mean to you and how do they relate to something being hidden?

Now, that "invisible force" is something. Normally, I'd say that "invisible" presence could be something that you are "missing" or "not seeing". The "shooting out" aspect felt like "grabbing your attention". And, your leg in the dream could be an action of a movement, or a power, or progress. So, maybe that invisible force going from the curtains to your leg is trying to get your attention on curtains to your leg, as if trying to connect the two, as if trying to get you to actively pay attention on your emotions.

I may be wrong, but that's what I get from looking at your dream. :)
