interesting video about psycopaths

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJ7ck8Q_RII

I copy and paste from the description, watching it, its easy to figure why it wasnt picked up...

"The pilot I made for CBC in 1996, which didn't get picked up.
Some scary guys from prison are in this. The 'teaser' interviews at the start are guys we interviewed for future shows which never happened as the series was declined..
Features the world's leading expert in Psychopathy, Dr Robert Hare.
Fanny Kiefer hosts...
(I'm still available to continue this series if you have financing)"

eliansito, thanks for sharing.

First thing I noticed was how bad the quality is, given that it was made in 1996 and it totally has an 80's vibe, which is very low quality, even for Canada.

Than it was pretty much the usual we hear 'Criminal Mind' type shows for a while, saying things like 'Psychopathy is a personality disorder', etc.
Until we come to 16:01 in the video:

It is found in a small number of people but it can have a devastating effect on society
and at 16:10:
However, not all psychopaths are violent. They live and work with you and me.

And then we see interviews with another psychologist and get to this later:

19:41 said:
Not all psychopaths commit horrendous crimes, in fact some don't commit any crimes at all. People who are successful in business or politics or the stock market could be psychopathic. And psychopaths don't care about who they hurt to get what they want.

And then comes the Robert Hare interview.

The subject of the episode 'Doug''s first parole hearing was projected to be in 2012.

All in all, it's no wonder why it didn't get picked up given the things said quoted above.
