I happened across this today and was surprised that the only recent mention of the issue was somewhat incidental, in this thread: https://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,43576.msg699853.html#msg699853

Otherwise I found no mention on the forum or in today's SOTT news. I think the SOTT editors should consider putting up one or more articles about the subject today, sooner being better since it will participate in the wave of interest that will presumably rise today. So apparently many websites are getting together on an awareness campaign today

This is a very big deal and an attempt at censorship, extra charges and slow speeds coming to a neighborhood such as yours if passed! Another article and the big Internet sites opposing this measure. Of course AT&T, Concast and Verizon stand to gain seeing as they are the largest Internet sites, allowing them to gain extra dollars from smaller Internet companies and sites!
