Interrogated about crime in dream

Some time ago, I had these dreams about breaking into somebody's place with other people and making a mess, taking things. I would always wake up and be relieved that it was only a dream.
Last night, however, a detective in the dream had me in a car, asking questions. He was very nonchalant about it.
When he was done, he said there was just one more thing to cover. He began showing me pages with 3 lines of text containing single words. An act, a motive and a psychological state. It would continue down the page, making about 8 to 10 sets of 3. He leafed off a few pages. All the same thing. I then asked him what was the meaning of this, what's it all about. He just stared at me and his eyes betrayed a glowing red in the stare, with a sickly grin.
As soon as I awoke (whew!!), I realized it was a dream, but I had this meaning of what it was all about.
The dreams are engineered to instill guilt, and that's how they can get you, compromise you.

Or, sometimes, they're just dreams.
