It is the last part from a 3-part movie about NPD. The interesting thing is: the "expert" on narcissism is a high degree narcist himself, as is only shown in the last part of the documentary. While through the first parts of the movie, he shares his insights on - and explains the underlying patterns of narcissism, the last part presents the "outtakes" where he shows his true face. It is funny and sad, enlightening and rediculous at the same time, but it maybe shows the confusion in a narcissists mind. Must watch.

Vaknin's comments in this video are most enlightening. Since we now know that he is a psychopath and was really talking about subcriminal psychopathy, it is a unique insight into how the psychopath thinks. He says that narcissists (really psychopaths) have a form of X ray vision and can spot weaknesses to exploit. That's pretty much what Lobaczewski says: that psychopaths have special psychological knowledge that they use to exploit others.

It's definitely worth watching as long as you realize that NPD is probably just a label for subcriminal psychopaths.


ADDED: Oh, boy! Vaknin is really playing it up! There's a lot of BS where he tries to evoke sympathy.

Yeah, there's sure a lot of "boohoo I cannot feel like others do, I cannot have normal relationships, poor me" in there.
