In reading a comment a few minutes ago my memory was jogged to recall a character who made a big splash while Obama was still a president. His name was Jason Russell. The meteoric coverage Jason got with his "Invisible Children" campaign stemmed from his concern about the soldier children in Africa. His target was Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and its leader Joseph Kony in Uganda. Jason wanted the US to just march in there and save the kids. To make a long story Jason's career ended being naked on the streets of the streets of Sand Diego. Not far from the Land of Make Believe, Hollywood. Many questions surround this character and I have my suspicions.

USAfricon is in Africa but I am not so sure they are trying to save children. More like protecting business.

PS: I was surprised then why Jason didn't travel to Gaza or Iraq to save children there. Even better would have been Afghanistan where kids are known to have it rough. Wink wink, no I am not surprised :-)
