I just saw a friend post this:

Of course my first thought is "what in the world do they need guns for??" Then again, I don't keep tabs on the IRS purchasing history, so I'm not sure if this sort of thing is abnormal or not. In any case, it seems strange that the IRS as a government agency would seek weapons. If they had to go into a dangerous situation, wouldn't they just have a police or sheriff escort?
What's next, armed utility workers?
