Israel must be treated like a child with violent upbringing

The Force is Strong With This One
The history of the creation of the state of Israel is a violent one,
I'm not going to discuss the details of who did what and who is to blame, that is widel available on Sott
The point is this, in psychology we note that children who had a trauma at birth can exhibit many different pathologies as a result
A common theme is paranoia over whether they have the right to exist
Therefore I deduce that there is no coincidence in the fact that Israeli-appologists always harp on about "the right to exist"
As above, so below

Israel must be treated like a child with violent upbringing, that means:
1) The ability for it to harm others must be removed
2) It must be then be assured that it is no longer under the threat of harm
3) It must undergo Rehabilitation and adaptation to living as a sane member of society

What most anti-zionist campaigners don't clock is that the bulk of zionists still fancy themselves the victims,
and a lot of their campaigns use slogans and acts that give power to that belief system

I think that your point of view regarding Israel could be reasonable up to a point, but it misses a crucial part of the picture. There are certainly citizens of Israel, including some Zionists, who still fancy themselves victims, and in no small measure because that is the propaganda that they have been fed in great quantity (and when I use the term 'propaganda', I do not mean to imply that the notion is entirely false, but that it has been used in a very specific way to program the thinking of the Israeli citizenry toward a specific end, making them more vulnerable to emotional manipulation).

The point that is being overlooked is the existence of psychopathy in Israel, especially amongst the Zionist political ruling class. There seems to be an especially large concentration of psychopathy amongst this group, and as a result Israeli domestic and foreign policy is vectored in ways that are noticeably cruel, misanthropic and, quite honestly, self-destructive. I recommend that you do some searching around on the forum on both 'Israel' and 'psychopathy', and as you do so it will probably become clear that your third point above is probably untenable because psychopaths by definition cannot be rehabilitated. Your second point is probably also untenable, because generally the only conditions under which psychopaths feel safe are when they are on top of the power pyramid and in control. This, of course, means that they would resist your first point tooth and nail, probably to the point of their own self-destruction if need be. All of this changes if psychopathy is removed from the equation, but is that possible?

oh yeah psychopathy good point
the thing is the people need to go along with the ruling class in order for the ruling class to have their way
and the vast majority go along because they are traumatised, not because they are psychopaths

in the mean time we would do well to campaign for legislation that insists that any member voted into office must
take the test where they determine whether they are psychopaths and psychopaths should be banned from holding office

Perhaps, but things may be more complicated -- the modern generation of younger Israelis has certainly grown up in a traumatic environment, but it is a different animal than the one their parents and grandparents endured in Europe (particularly Germany of course, but also Russia and other countries) during WWII. I would guess that those who do support the ruling class now primarily out of conditioning -- of which trauma can of course be one component. Your more general premise is correct though -- if the citizenry collectively refused to endorse the present leadership for whatever reason, then the game would be over (provided a new pathocracy was prevented from rising to power and filling the vacuum).

Idealistically, it is a possibility. Realistically, it is difficult to see this being enacted. Moreover, this is a thorny human-rights tar-baby, but having said that, it would certainly simplify things. I don't have a simple answer to this issue, but if it were even possible to move it into public debate, it would probably be quite complex.
