I don't usually remember dreams. However, the other night, I did. It was very strange (I've been watching X-Files, so that may be a clue as to why). I was in a subterranean complex with soft red lights all around. I was staying in what I understood to be a temporary hotel-type room. I was working for some agency or something, charged with hunting down/stopping these 3-4 foot tall goblin-monsters who were murdering the inhabitants of the complex.

I remember chasing them, and seeing their victims. I couldn't really figure a way to stop them, but I really wanted to know why they were doing what they did. One night, I was stopped by a guy in a suit and hat, and he said something like this: "You don't have to always know the WHY of things. Some things you will never know and aren't meant to ever know. It is what it is."

He disappeared. I went back to my little room, and continued to try to find out why the little monsters were doing what they were doing lol. It's funny that the guy said, "It is what it is." Because that is a pet peeve of mine; when someone says that to me, it usually means, "shut up and leave it alone; stop asking questions. K bye." When someone says, "It is what it is," that is an immediate clue that "It is what it shouldn't be." IMO

I have a son who is interested in many things, it will be 15 years after tomorrow. I love teaching him various things. But now his personality opposes the mine. And I'm like your man with the big hat :). I told my son we can not know everything and we can not understand everything. Some things I say are not used to be understood right away. They are like seeds that grow. But I think it is important to feed the (sun, rain, love) ... Or maybe I'm running out of argument like your man in the hat.

Regarding the interpretations of dreams, the most important in my opinion, are not figurative forms, but emotion. The figurative figure is the form closest to recreate a situation in our 3D illusion. Emotions are very few, but they have at their disposal an alphabet of figurative forms very rich. These figurative forms are the nuances of emotions (info). In dreams, before seeing forms, one must understand the emotions felt. The shapes are outside the box, emotion is the true content. At least that's what I think.
