These dreams probably mean nothing.
They happened after the fact, but what makes it weird for atleast me, is that I never dream of natural disasters that have happened in real life or imaginary natural disasters for that matter, no natural disasters in my dreams. Since the quake hit japan I have had 2 dreams of a japanese earthquake after the original one. In the first dream, which was last weekend, the only thing I can remember is that, it turned out there was going to be another big quake.
In another dream, which happened last night, I was in japan, in a destroyed city, dont know why, and the quake had hit and a tsunami was on its way. Warning was given to everyone. I was confused because I didnt know what to do, I was walking around aimlessly, then an idea came into my head to seek higher ground, but there was none. Then I saw a huge queue of people who were going into this huge skyscraper. I arrived abit late to this queue and I found myself towards the back and this queue was massive. I knew that the tsunami was going to hit before everyone had got into the skyscraper. At this point I looked to my left and saw a smaller building, looked sturdy like something that could withstand a tsunami hit. On this other building, there wasnt a huge queue, there were some people but no where as much as in the skyscraper building. So I went there and sure enough we all got into the building. Inside there were other people, welcoming us etc. I went to a window somewhere in the building and I saw the tsunami coming in and I remember someone saying these is way faster and stronger than the original one.
Anyways that was that.
Reasons I think they mean nothing, is because, firstly, I dont know exactly when compared to the 1st dream, but after reading the C transcript posted by Laura about the Tokyo quake, I already knew that there might be a possible second bigger quake. 2ndly, I was reading alot of posts about people having 'water' dreams of something similar in the main earthquake thread in the forum before the quake hit and 3rdly, it's pretty much in the news everyday so it can just be simply the mind using images or impressions seen during the day or recently, in dreams for whatever reason.
Anyways, just thought I'd post it. The only symbolical thing that I could make out were the 2 building, the skyscraper which looked majestic and elegant and the other building which didnt have the kind of charisma that the skyscraper had plus the differences in size of the queues in the 2 buildings.
