Javier Milei has been elected president of Argentina

Dear Bluegazer, I am sure that what you are experiencing is necessary for your life experience in some way.
I only ask you not to close in on yourself.
Listen to others, without underestimating them.
Your experience can be a treasure for others, and vice versa.

I am not humble enough as I would like to be. That is why I know very well the truth of what I will tell you:
Only and only when I was humble at times, was I able to see clearly.
However brief those moments may be, they are very transcendent, and the basis for an eventual development of the Self.

I have seen wisdom in the advice and words of support that others have given you, in this bad time you are going through. I don't know if the following will help you too, but here I go.

As an Argentine that you are, you can imagine what it may have been like for me, to have been born in Montevideo, in 1970, in a politically committed family, with my father a member of the National Liberation Movement "Tupamaros", also my aunt, my uncle, my godmother, my godfather, all "Tupamaros".

They all fell.
The CIA took care of all of them and their families.

Torture" was extended in various ways to the direct relatives of the prisoners.
I have known terror since I was 3 years old.
Yet, I have spent my life vigorously confronting anything that sounds like an imposition to me.
I have noticed, that one of the things they also want to "impose" on us, is to make us angry, so that we will react in a way that is convenient for them.

Life is hard, and sometimes we get depressed.
I remember a great moment that served me for life.
I was very young. I don't remember the circumstances I was in, but I know I was suffering a lot.
I was so depressed, I didn't want to talk to anyone, about any matter.
If someone spoke to me, I listened but did not answer, due to a total absence of interest, and did not even give any sign that I had listened.
But I realized that this worried others, so I went to bed to sleep.

I slept soundly.

When I woke up and opened my eyes, the day was radiant, the sky was blue, the sun was shining incredibly bright, and the first thing I heard because some radio was on, was "There is always a new day".
Everything changed at that moment, and I just wanted to live.
It turned out that it was the Argentine singer Facundo Cabral, just saying that phrase in the song.
Since then and to this day, when life hits me hard, I remember that morning when I saw and heard "Siempre hay un nuevo día" (There's always a new day).

This is how they named Milei "Ambassador of Light" in a ceremony at the Zionist Hasidic sect Chabad Lubavitch of Miami. How pathetic! SlONISM + NEOLIBERALISM. The complete package.

What is this recognition about? To be an emissary of Israel and that the "Honored" must have an "unwavering dedication to spreading freedom, hope and positivity" and recognize "tireless efforts for Israel and the global community".

Why do they need more public relations agents? No...no, sorry: "Ambassadors of Light"? International pressure.

Police in Argentina repress indigenous community to force entry of foreign mining company

The indigenous community of Peñas Negras, in the Argentine province of Catamarca, was repressed during an operation by the local police to escort vehicles of the mining company Elevado Gold, which intends to operate in the territory.

This Thursday, by order of the prosecutor of the city of Belén, Marina Villagra, members of the provincial security forces shot at local community members who were trying to stop the advance of the foreign company, established in the country but with Australian capital.

In this procedure, Félix Escalante, an 80-year-old Diaguita community member who confronted armed police officers with shields, was pushed several times and ended up wounded by rubber bullets.

The chief of the community, Sebastián Gutiérrez, and other community members took the complaint to the Belén Public Prosecutor's Office on March 27, reported La Izquierda Diario, to expose the series of acts of violence they have been suffering at the hands of the police and the company, which hires community members from other communities to confront and harass them.

They also accuse the destruction of property, stalls and corrals, as well as the theft of animals and various aggressions. In addition, they claim that they requested a hearing with the Secretary of Security of Catamarca, but did not receive an answer.

It will not be the last time we see cases of repression in Argentina, it is a hallmark of neoliberal governments, at least in Latin America.

That pic reminds me of what Musk said not so long ago - "We will coup whoever we want" when Morales was ousted. I think that was mostly a Lithium power play for the ongoing green energy BS.

And then there's the recent stuff going on with Musk and censorship in Brazil. I don't think it's as simple as it seems. No coincidence that Musk was recently muscled out of his electric car market and source Lithium by China.

And so now he's suddenly friends with Milei, who likely has offered him and his green agenda backers access to Argentina's Lithium.

Argentina's Lithium Landscape

Home to part of the renowned 'Lithium Triangle', Argentina holds an estimated 20% of the world's lithium resources. The country's reserves are primarily located in the salt flats of the northwest, with the provinces of Catamarca, Salta, and Jujuy being pivotal to this mineral wealth. With electric vehicles (EVs) steering the demand, Argentina's lithium is a beacon for a greener future.

From Milei to Musk

Electric vehicles (EVs) are steering the future of transportation, and at their heart is a silent champion: lithium. Argentina, blessed with the world's second-largest reserves of this 'white gold,' is at the epicenter of a geopolitical contest, intensified by President Javier Milei's comments about the intense interest from industry leaders like Elon Musk and the U.S. government in the nation's lithium potential. Milei's statements signal the high stakes involved and Argentina's crucial role in the burgeoning EV era, emphasizing the need for a legal framework that upholds property rights while navigating international interest.

Argentina's Lithium Riches: A Global Power Play

Holding approximately 20 million tons of lithium reserves, Argentina is a titan in the lithium market, with significant reserves located in the salt flats of Catamarca and Jujuy. The country's current production is poised to more than triple by 2026, potentially moving it to the third place in global lithium carbonate production. This rapid expansion has drawn global attention, with Milei and Musk's budding relationship hinting at future collaborations, and Musk's potential visit in 2024 further solidifying Argentina's prominence in the lithium sphere.

The International Race for Lithium

Global powers recognize the strategic importance of lithium, with nations like the USA, India, China, and the European Union all vying for a stake in Argentina's lithium supply. The international pursuit is not just for the mineral but for the influence and security it brings in the age of EVs.

India's increasing footprint in the lithium landscape is evident as it nears the completion of a deal to acquire five lithium blocks in Argentina.

Russia's Bolivian Lithium Ambitions

In the broader South American context, Russia's strategic investments in Bolivia's lithium sector underscore the resource's significance. Uranium One Group, a Russian company, has announced plans to invest approximately $450 million in a pilot lithium production project in Bolivia, with the country potentially harboring the world's largest lithium reserves. This deal is a testament to the international scramble for control over the lithium supply chain and Bolivia's efforts to establish itself as a dependable partner amid economic challenges.

Navigating Economic and Environmental Priorities

Argentina's lithium reserves, second only to Bolivia, are a cornerstone of its economic strategy. With a projected tripling of production by 2026, the country is positioned to ascend the ranks of global lithium producers. The environmental impact of lithium mining, however, remains a pressing concern, with the industry's massive water requirements posing a threat to local ecosystems and communities.

The amount of brine required to produce a single tonne of lithium is subject to debate, but some estimates suggest it could be as high as 800,000 litres—a volume that could significantly deplete even the most copious aquifers.

And so now he's suddenly friends with Milei, who likely has offered him and his green agenda backers access to Argentina's Lithium.
And other agendas on the horizonte.

Argentina's presidential spokesman in an alleged press conference - without press, that the president had to return from his trip to the US and Denmark due to the events in Israel, the attacks by Iran. He mentions that Argentina supports Israel in defense of its sovereignty, and that a Cabinet meeting has been held with the Israeli ambassador (??) in Argentina .... Then he gives the microphone to the Israeli ambassador(??) for his country's point of view on the recent events as well as thanking Argentina for its support.

I guess Argentina will gladly - in a non too distance future - send money although, the country does not have much of that, but it has soldiers that would gladly fight for other country.
There is already criticism of this unusual event in Argentina.

The year of the unusual things!
🇦🇷🇮🇱 | Israeli Ambassador to Buenos Aires, Eyal Sela, presents details on Iran's large-scale attack against the State of Israel.

For Pensioners: NO money!

For the soup kitchens in the suburbs: NO money!

For education: NO money!

For the disabled and the sick: NO money!

For Israel: YES there is money

This guy hates the Argentine people.

On the other hand this interview to the Minister of National Security of Argentina is very real, her monaliza-like-smile at the end when she says "or not" says a lot. She comments that Argentina is more aligned with the values that represent the western democracies, Israel, USA, Europe... He says that Argentina believes in their philosophy, democracy and human rights of those free countries, where people can choose how to destroy themselves with freedom.... No, she didn't say that, but almost 😂.

That is not a matter of winning or not losing, she says... but the kind of society they (we) want for Argentina.

She mentions that at the end of the second world war, for declaring war (to other countries - I asume) days before the ending, Argentina entered a very deep isolation process and they do not want to fall again.
... last famous words 🙄

She refers to the "politically correct" messages of appeals for peace, that Argentina is not neutral and says, Argentina's position is: that those states that belong to the democracies of the western world, have shared values with Argentina.
Argentina is going to be on that side whether it goes well or not.

Interesting the use of the word in Spanish "les" as referring to other people, shouldn't it be "nos"? nosotros? (we)?

Edit, I mean, Argentina is going to be in aligment with those states, if they fair well, Argentina would be accordingly, if not as well.

Patricia Bullrich says Milei's government is with Israel out of "conviction, for democracy, for human rights."

The madness 😳

Bullrich... From a landowning and oligarch family from the beginning. Apart from the serious problem she has with alcoholism, she has been moving in politics since the 70s, she has been involved with the montoneros, she has always been a mole, a traitor but because of her stripe she has never been judged accordingly. She changes her ideology and political party as she changes her underwear.

Much probably fake, at Conan O'brien's X account no interview had been posted with Biden and much less about Argentina nor Millei.

And, since when Biden speaks so eloquent?

LOL! And he hardly ever speaks without a script. It sure sounds fake. But it's interesting that they thought of making a joke of it, probably because it's true that Milei is a bit of their laughing stock, given how easy he is making it for the US.

These last 3 days I've had another depressive cycle... I feel the pressure of what is coming down to my bones.
It looks ugly but don't lose hope! Hang in there! Stay true to yourself and remember there is always light! Light never turns off. Never, Ever! It is hard to remember all these things in a state of dispair, but it is important to see beyond the chaos and gain perpective. Take baby steps. Like the C's said "there is no need to gauge the staircase"

Argentina is going to be on that side whether it goes well or not.
Like a cheerleader basically... btw it amazes me how safe they feel speaking out about these things like it is nothing serious and nobody will ever stop them.

Don't worry. I'm better now. It was just those days. Talking to friends and family it is not something completely particular. Yes, there were particular circumstances but from what I could find out a lot of people in those days were very stressed and just like me I could feel something wrong in the atmosphere. It also happened to be the days before the eclipse....

Thank you.
