In Volume 8 on Pg 60, half way down the page, (from session dated 1-27-96) one of the questions asks about the prayers sent to Jesus and the Answer: Jesus is one of us in "special service" sector.
Then C's refer to that sector as the "beige beret." Nothing further was asked about this "special sector" or the "beige beret" reference. I'd like more information on that. What does this "special sector" do? Why did they refer to Jesus as a solider?
It's the first time I've ever heard of Jesus referred to as a "soldier" and I found that extremely interesting especially the "beret" part considering what "berets" of any color, beige or green, are tasked with. For example green berets are tasked with unconventional warfare (the original and most important mission of Special Forces), foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, direct action, and counter-terrorism.
There are "beige or tan berets" and they are referred to as Rangers, pulled from Go Army site. The Tan Beret is the distinctive headgear of the 75th Ranger Regiment. This beret is a mark of distinction that brands the wearer as a proven warrior.
The Green Berets, or Special Forces, as mentioned are trained in unconventional tactics, but Rangers and Green Berets have very different missions. The Ranger Regiment is the world’s premier light infantry fighting force, specializing in raids and assault missions deep inside enemy held territory, Earth can be considered enemy held territory. Also interesting is the motto of the Rangers is they lead the way!
Trying to connect some dots although I may be stretching it a bit but thought it was worth throwing it out there. Any thoughts?
