With regards to the Jesus Camp, i'm speechless with shock and disbelief. It's bad enough we have grown people who display such behaviour, but to indoctrinate mere kids....sheesh! The difficulty involved in trying to get someone who is polarized by evangelical/fundamental christianity to open their minds and consider even for a small moment that other religions eg buddhism etc are in some way similar to christianity, is enormous! So i could imagine those kids who remain firm in this brainwashing/indoctrination 20yrs down the line........they could become hardened/crystalized in those fundamental beliefs to the point where there isn't any hope for them in this lifetime with regards to considering life outside their 'bible'.

This ran a couple of times on CNN. I was horrified as I watched it. Apparently, CNN had to pull the piece because the sinister minister didn't like the way he was portrayed. I mean really, how are you going to look good to people when it's such obvious brainwashing. Those kids looked afraid to me.

Yeah If I had given it a few seconds pondering I would have posted it correcly, but I associated Jebus with religion. Just because they call it religion dosent make it so. Seems to be I have a lot of programming left to deal with. ^_^
 
My dad was just flipping through the channels and got to CNN, where Anderson Cooper was hosting a special called "What is a Christian: Where do You Fit In?", a collection of reports on different Christian denominations in the U.S. It's a pretty interesting look at the power of Christianity in America, especially the rise in Evangelicalism. The special also goes into the influence of all this in politics and foreign policy and how this relates to the overwhelming belief in America that the "End Times" are coming soon...

Of course, as it was shown on CNN, take it with a grain of salt.

Yes, the Jesus Camp documentary was totally shocking, what can you say...they wan't to get to them while they're young. They apparently still have it on Google, at least for a while ;) :

Just also finished watching 'Jonestown: The Life And Death Of Peoples Temple', what a classic case of psychopath Jim Jones was! There was no mentions of Jim's connections to the CIA in the film, but otherwise well made. Watching it made me sad and hopeless. The case has probably been discussed here, but here's the link anyway, nobody should miss the story.:

omg! totally scary! reminds me of a strange dream i had when a child. Soldiers recuiting children with hypnotizing music, and we where very few kids to hide...
brainwashing children.. :((
