JFK and his administration analogy to our mind

Hi,

Yesterday one thought gain some attraction in my mind.

I was thinking whether JFK and his administration could be an analogy to our mind. I liked that thought that his administration was a "predator's mind" willing to conquer the world, to fight only for self interests, to establish big state "ego" over other and over the truth.

He was trying to "introduce" the "way of light" and was "stopped". He was gaining support among "his body cells" who are people, but his mind does not allowed him to reconfigure the system (DNA ?). His "predator's mind" had strongly ingrained belief system / religion (fight with Communism as one of them). JFK was trying to follow the truth / using analytic mind over the beliefs and prejudices.

Are we in the similar danger trying to "reprogram" our minds, trying to establish our true self?

Could that be that our body is not following our conscious aims straight away and need time like people to understand their president?

Well, what comes to my mind is the general law, as described in Gurdjieff's work. When we start to seek change, there are intensive forces starting to act upon us - inside and outside. Be sure to read In Search of the Miraculous, if you haven't done so.

Also, since you're talking about JFK, I would highly recommend reading 'JFK and the unspeakable'.

Once we have made our choice to strive towards a more STO way of being, we must persist and never look back no matter how intense the inhibiting forces are. That is easier said than done, though. With networking your chances are better (I guess JFK and RFK were pretty alone with their visions).

At least, this is how I see it.

Hi Aragorn,
I have read "JFK and the Unspeakable" and I find it great. Great work done by James Douglas. This story took me very much. I have now lent this book to my friend. For me this book was one of the best. The author attitude towards presenting his beliefs supported in each case by evidences was something inspirational when comparing media not willing to get to the bottom of events.

This analogy I was thinking could be example of "what's above so below". Means form me: how we are organizing our outside world, what enemies and friends we have could be reflection of how we are constituted "below" I mean for example our bodies, our cells...
Well, just a thought.

ITSOM I read partly only. Maybe this will be next one must read?

I have seen another analogy to JFK story.

Recently my mother visited our home. She and my wife have bad relation. My wife admitted after this visit that my mother and this relation could have not existed to her. There is some hostility in there also.

I thought that we are all like JFK when struggling for peace.
So I was asking myself: what JFK did in order to make two opposite worlds, Communists and Americans, bring closer to each other.
I like this thought. I like this subtle way of approaching different worlds. I do not know what will happen. JFK also did not know. He was anyway looking for ways to communicate. To find smallest common denominator. To find something in common from where two worlds can meet.
