This article on Politico's website is in support of a recent editorial in the New York Times by Editor Liz Spayd "who bravely shook the beehive that is the 'false balance' controversy". Politico exhorts reporters to aim for the truth vs. a "Zen-like equilibrium that gives all 'stakeholders' a say":
