Hi,
I'd like to share with you all a story that happened to me few years ago. Back then I was a medicine student. Saying I was formated to the cartesian approach is an euphemism. What was about to happen will be the first eye opening event of a long series. One day I remember I was playing with one of my little brothers (as brothers we do fight for fun a lot) in the living room. We were sitting next to each other, each one in his proper chair, and he was on my right side. So here we are fighting and stuff, but as I was grabbing his left arm and holding it tighltly so I could attack him on the hip, he had a reflex with the orter arm wich caused it to hurt his chair right on the cubital nerve (in France we call this "le coup du petit Juif", something like " the little jew strocke") and then screemed because of the pain.
I merely had the time to ask " hey what happ..." when, still holding his left arm, I started to feel the exact same electric pain coming in my proper right arm ! At that time, I kind of denied this fact because it didn't make sense at all for a seriuous student like me to experience such bizarre thing.
Even if I've totally changed my mind on this subject, has anyone ever meet something of this kind?
