I've recently seen a lecture by Ka Ren / Karène G. Le Drian ( _http://www.ka-ren.ch/blog/blog , in french), and read her book "Integration II" (also in french), which I found interesting, and quite informative.
It is a good addition to Candace Pert's book and also Strassman's.
She covers a lot of topics (with many scientific details) : psychoactive substances, entheogens, the difference between consciousness and spirit, ayahuasca, MAO inhibitors (ie. in tobacco), the pineal and pituitary glands, tryptophan, melatonin, tryptamine, states of consciousness, REM sleep, the phenomenon of dream, gamma brainwaves, etc.
All her research leads to a good overview of 4D perception and reality.
Although Integration II (volume III, about stress, is written but not published) is in french, Integration I is available in english (I haven't read it yet) : _http://www.ka-ren.ch/publications/livres
and also a previous book is translated in english and spanish : "Heart has reasons that mind ignores"
She says that all her researches follows "direct download" of informations coming from "the Consciousnesses of Procyon". I watched for any red flags but the only thing I see is that she communicated with Dan Winter (another thing is that she is not familiar with paleo/keto diet, cf Integration II p.161). Most of her book Integration II is "down to earth" solid informations about the molecules / chemistry involved in consciousness.
Anyway, I think the book is worth reading.
