I found this interview (about 58 minutes long) to be very powerful, and it gives some insight into what
it has been like for Katherine Hudson growing from a young girl to become the Superstar that is Katy
Perry.

I'll leave it for others to decide if she has a split personality, but it would be hard not to when presenting yourself on stage, then going home to your family. This situation must be common with people in the public eye.

She comes across as honest and forthright, and vulnerable at the same time.

Oh jeez that album cover, it gave me the chills... :/ I did watch that "therapy session" she had, out of curiosity. And it was veeery disturbing to see how she would automatically change how she was sitting or speaking whenever she talked about Katy or Katherine. There is, IMO, something very weird about her... And I don't think it's just her, as you mentioned Persej there's something very cuckoo going on in that scene..

I dont think it was about katy at all.
and there was no actual Therapy taking place.

It was about the skill of the guy as he guided her from one persona to another,
It was like watching a puppet show , and katy never came close to actually understanding her own plight.
IMO.

reminded me of the Britney interview,
That was about the Handling Skills of the Interviewer.
