Kinda manifested two things into my reality this evening

I've picked up another classical guitar student recently, and so I've been looking online at nylon-string classical guitars, as I've always just taught classical on my normal, steel-string, acoustic guitar.

Tonight, one of my students who is a teacher in a school arrived for her lesson and said "There's an old guitar from my school that we were going to throw out, but I thought I'd bring it to you to see if it's worth salvaging? It's in the car. Do you want to look at it?" So I said, sure, bring it in. Low and behold, it's a nylon-string, classical guitar, and she just gave it to me for free :) I'm so grateful to the universe right now.

So just over an hour later, I've arrived home. It's bonfire/V night here, and there are fireworks going off all around me as I write this. As I got out of the car, I thought about what Ouspenski said about our 2D friends in Tertium Organum, because people on Facebook have been posting things like "please consider dogs at this time of year and wait until the 5th before you let off your fireworks."

I thought, "Hmm, if what Ouspenski said about animals is correct, it must be a pretty rough night for dogs because each firework would be like a separate event to them and they won't be able to "conceptualise" the idea that they're all connected by the occasion."

And then as I walked up to my front door, my neighbour had their front door open and a beautiful white bull hound came bounding out to greet me! Neighbour had a visitor who'd brought the dog. I've never met or seen the dog before.

It was only when I got in and closed my door that I thought, "wait a minute, I was thinking about dogs just a minute ago".

Happy V night, everyone! :v:

I just realised something...

A while ago, I made a post about synchronicites I was experiencing, and wrote:

I'd always seen the "V says, remember remember the fifth of November" on the signs page, but having not seen the film V for Vendetta, didn't know what it was about. Then, I saw the youtube link to the Trailer type vid with our politicians edited in, very good. I now understood what all those forum users avatars represented.

Last couple of days, when going into local stores that rent DVD's, I've looked for the film but not found it. Today, I had to take a book back to the library and remembering they have DVD's there, I thought I'd look for it there. Well, I spent five mins searching but couldn't see it. As I began searching, a guy walked into the library. He asked if he could become a member. He was asking if he could use the internet there, family history, things like that. So I went to the counter to give back the book and asked the woman if she could look on the computer for a film incase I just couldn't see it on the shelf.

"whats the film called?", she asked. "V for vendetta", I replied. "Good film" said the guy stood next to me who was joining the library. "I'm sorry luv," said the librarian "we don't have it here. If you go into town it's available there." "If you live near -----, you can borrow it from me mate", said the stranger.

Being, more distracted and dissapointed by the librarian, I quickly and humbly said "That's kind, but it's ok, thanks anyway". After all, it's not the done thing to just start trading things with people we don't know, is it? I didn't want to seem rude, or assuming.

Well, I walked out of the library but then I stopped. Hang on, think about it, isn't it a bit strange that everywhere you've looked, you can't find the film but, someone who owns the film has just decided, the very moment you're there looking for it, to join the library? AND he's offered to lend it ya!

I couldn't help myself. I had to go back in.

I approached the guy. He saw me and said, "do you want to borrow it?". I said that if he was sure, I would really appreciate it. I was going past his house on the way home but he said he wouldn't be in for a few hours. He gave me his phone number. The women at the library thought it was great, and a funny incident! I just said, to them all "Somtimes you get the feeling something is meant to be", and the guy agreed with me.

So, there was an example of a similar thing happening, and it was tied to the film, today being V day.

Phew...

Thanks for sharing T.C., it's funny when these things happen. On the one hand they could be coincidences, but on the other, it does make you wonder how big the chance is for it to happen at that exact moment! In any case, I'm glad you were able to get the V dvd. :)

When it comes to receiving things (in unexpected ways) we've been actively trying to search for, I always remind myself to be thankful as well like you mentioned, and to also give back in any way I can to the Universe.

This isn't a story similar to yours, but thought I'd mention it. One time, I forgot my plastic bag in the bus, which was unusual for me as I'm usually OCD about checking whether I have all my stuff with me whenever I leave the bus/tram/train. So I got pretty stressed out as there was a valuable book in there from the library. So, I went to the busstation and spoke with the drivers there and asked them if they could look through the buses. They didn't find my bag. Then I checked my library account a day later, and it said that it was returned to the library. I was so relieved and very thankful for the person who brought it back. My thought was that I had forgotten it at the busstop, and someone found it there.

Two days later or so, I found a lost identity card at the train station. I was thinking about whether I should take it and report it, but decided that if it was mine, I wished someone would have done so! So I took it and reported it, and I received a message a day later that it's returned to the owner. So, for me, this was an opportunity to give back, and also because it was the right thing to do. I thought it was interesting that I found this card only several days after someone brought back my lost book. It could've been a coincidence, but interesting nonetheless!

That reminds me of the time when I was watching a sci-fi series (Babylon 5) and I had just two episodes to go, when one of my house mates moved out unexpectedly and took the dvd set with him, which he owned. Redfox was there for a visit when I was lamenting I wouldn't be able to watch the end, and he said no problem, he just happened to have that same dvd set in the boot of his car, which he kept there "in case of emergencies"! (Thanks Redfox.)

I take all these funny sinchronicities as a sign that the 'stuff' of the Universe is information rather than matter.

This is great. Things like what is mentioned above have been happening with more regularity. I now live in a Manor that houses around 62 apartments. For the elderly and disabled. The people here are really good to one another. We have what is called "The Free Table". When we have items that are no longer needed we put it on the free table. Its like an interesting form of barter. 8 out of 10 times I will find what I am needing on the table. And what I leave on the table always gets taken.
I have doubled my awareness and discipline on what I think I need or wish to acquire because it is happening so much. It was interesting that I found this posting and that others are experiencing the same thing. Its really kind of fun. I know it sounds sort of "materialistic". But seriously, when your coffee maker dies and you do not have the funds for a new one. Well, the free table provides things such as this. ;) Tarri

Funny thing happened last night, I was having tea with Carl, and we were talking about synchronicity, and he actually mentioned this exact example, without having read this thread, and I'd read it earlier that day! This really made me laugh

Since I joined this forum and gained more knowledge, I understand now that what is synchronicity is. But before then time to time, wondering that is somebody read my mind? Is this because am I possess by some kind of sprit? Is angel or God trying to help me? Lots questions but don't have satisfy answer, so I just disregard of incidents.

Anyway the most recent case was my son keep talking about I should have dog for company instead live alone, even though I live next to his house.
But I never feel lonely, I always find something interest and beside that I never had pet in my life, and I thought that pet is kind of nuisance and they are for weak minded lonely person.

So, sometimes my son took me to animal shelters to look and he even brought dog to show me if I like it. But I didn't care any, and certainly I am not going to pay for dog.

Thus, one day I made my mind and told my son that if there is free and very young puppy, I might take it.
Then about 2 weeks later we went to Walmart, and in the parking lot, there was a lady, give away two and half months old Labrador Retriever for free!

So, now first time in my life I have dog and we love each other.

Something happened me the other day. I was reading ISOM were Ouspensky talks about the moon
the next day while out driving a bus passed me with a sign on the back a picture of the moon a rope around the earth with the words
the moon has a hold on you.would of liked to get a picture What was strange was it wasn't advertising anything it was just a sign.

Synchronicities are interesting things, and it does seem like aspects of what one focuses on start appearing in daily life. And... as Samuel Goldwyn said: "The harder I work the luckier I get" seems to apply.

I am reminded of the famous Carl Jung Synchronicity:

A young woman I was treating had, at a critical moment, a dream in which she was given a golden scarab. While she was telling me this dream, I sat with my back to the closed window. Suddenly I heard a noise behind me, like a gentle tapping. I turned round and saw a flying insect knocking against the window-pane from the outside. I opened the window and caught the creature in the air as it flew in. It was the nearest analogy to a golden scarab one finds in our latitudes, a scarabaeid beetle, the common rose-chafer (Cetonia aurata), which, contrary to its usual habits had evidently felt the urge to get into a dark room at this particular moment. I must admit that nothing like it ever happened to me before or since.
