I watched this tonight after not having seen it for over 10-15 years. It's a little cheesy, but found it still interesting. The plot line is that a newly crowned king has to rescue his queen from 'The Beast' and his 'slayers' that arrived on the planet and save the world from total enslavement. The catch is that he and the people he meets along the way have to figure a way to find the 'black fortress' that moves to a different location on the planet at sunset each day where ole beasty is that has his queen. Beasty is trying to convince the queen that power can overcome love. Watching it reminds me somewhat of learning and overcoming the 'predator mind' because of some of the images and scenes.
A couple examples:
- the queen stands in a huge eye in the black fortress at one point and the eye explodes at the end of the movie
- one character has to go see the 'widow of the web', which is actually his wife that he left years before because of misunderstanding, to find out where the fortress will appear. Reminded me of Narcassism and dealing with a person's web of programs.

Anyway, if you haven't seen it and need a lite, adventure, fantasy movie might be worth a watch.

I decided to 'go back in time' and see what some of the movies that were posted were about and chose this one. It was just the right amount of cheese for me! And with James Horner composing the music I liked it a lot.

I also saw this movie a couple of days ago searching for old movies. I enjoyed the very beginning of the movie, just before the aliens appeared. After that, it was too silly style for me.

However, the movie looked quite like The Chronicles Of Riddick. So if you like Krull you have to see Riddick.

yeah me too!!, I've seen this movie a long time ago and i saw it again few months ago I liked it when I was a child, and now as an adult, I can see how fake aliens were in those days, but never the less it is a fun movie to watch. :P
