Lake drained for photo-op …
Standing on the Parched Lakebed of Lake Mendocino, California State Governor Gavin Newsom Signs Emergency Drought Measures – Redheaded Blackbelt
Just like a government representative to do this. This lake is very close to my residence. The water in it is not the property of the county that it resides in, it is owned by an adjacent county. The water used in my valley comes from a well in Ukiah, 10 mi. away.
Now this was not done quickly as the dam pumps can only push so much water a day. In fact, to do this it would have had to been flowing for two to three months.
I check with a resident that lives on the draining creek of the lake and they stated that they have actually been feeling the low rumble of water passing for most of the last couple of months. They also stated that the low rumble is only felt when a major amount of water was released.
The rainfall in the area was fair this year. Yes, we had below average rainfall this year, about 60% of normal when you look at any digital rain measuring gage. I have one of these and it is registering 22.62” of rain for the current year (starting in July 2020). And this digital means is what the county is using for rainfall amounts. Even I own an Ambient Weather, weather station. It has a network Ambient Weather Network but I have not connected mine to this.
I also have a manual rain gage, a weather channel horizontal unit. https://www.amazon.com/Crosse-Techn...ther+channel+rain+gauge&qid=1619191930&sr=8-7, this is a similar design. It was the survivor of three different manual rain gages that I started with. The most accurate was a 1” test tube like, I used it to correlate readings due to its accuracy. This one and a vertical registering unit broke within a year or two. I have also verified the calculation method for the horizontal rain gage, and it correlates also.
This horizontal rain gage registers 2.05 times more rain than my digital gage. How is this possible. With my digital gage registering 22.62, my manual gage has registered over 45” of rain. 35-40 inches of rain is normal and fills the local lake with even half that amount of rain.
Just another of the lies that goes unnoticed. To expel so much STS effort to make a lie like this and on something that has so little effect on the world. Just to make a video shoot at the bottom of a dried-up lake to prove the global warming lie. I can only imagine how this photo-op will be used in the future. Haiku …
