Lerning reiki

Hello Everyone,

I am thinking about studying reiki. However, I am not really sure how to pick a good teacher or what to look for.

I ran across the following website which offer reiki study around my area, if it's not too much to ask, can someone take a look and see if it would be a good place to go ? If not, anyone have any suggestion what to look for when searching reiki teacher ?

I've been into reiki for awhile - since 1993. I took some advanced classes with William Rand. The link above is for his guidelines for choosing a teacher. I think they are good ones. My advice is don't jump too quickly into something. Rand is pretty expensive - but he is good. I have given classes for a very minimal amount of money - $25, because I feel everyone should learn it, not just to practice, but because it raises your consiousness. We all need that! Anyway, there are other teachers around that are reasonably priced. I know people that practice and paid a lot for their classes and those that did not pay alot. It's individual what you make of it. Meditate and go with your knowingness. What else can we do?
