Many people have been waiting to see how the USG would seek to confiscate the Liberty Dollars seized last year, in some "legal" forum, and now the answer appears: a simple redefinition of the assets seized as defendants in the case, and no longer as evidence. This seems to allow them the convenience of notifying the coins that the case is proceeding against them, rather than notifying the owners of the coins...
