The Force is Strong With This One
I just read a news article that reports an unusually high level of lightning activity this past 24 hrs in the latest eruption in Iceland. It stated that:
"According to Iceland Met a total of 2,198 lightings were recorded in the Grímsvötn eruption between midnight and 1 AM this morning. In the Eyjafjallajökull eruption last year 22 lightings were the record, measured between 8 and 9 AM on May 16, 2010."

Wow, that's a huge difference! I would assume those two ash clouds are somewhat similar, which would suggest similar levels of lightning activity as well. I think this fits in rather well with the electric universe model. But what are the implications?
