Lightning hit man twice and he walk away.

Re: Thunder hit man twice and he walk away.

Is this a reference to a person hit by lightning? As far as I know, thunder doesn't hit people?

Oh, and the vid won't work for me...(probably user error, I'm not awake yet, no pun intended.)

Thanks! I don't know if its a fake or not, but I've known people who were struck by lightning, and none of them got up after being hit like that. What makes me think its not fake is the scorching on the pavement.

Re: Thunder hit man twice and he walk away.

Oh sorry Gimpy of course lightning, :D
Sorry I will correct it.

I watched the video, it looks real enough but I have a hard time believing that someone could get up and walk after getting hit twice by lightning!

The video is awfully clear for a surveillance camera - but maybe they have really high quality surveillance cameras there. I don't know - I'm leaning toward it being a pretty brilliant hoax (but I tend to be a cynic). ;)

It looks staged to me imo, the movements of the persons for example. And hit two times by a lightning? I guess electricity is still following the shortest way and there are still trees around.

My two cents. :)

what is the chance to be hit by lightning and then a second time in a very short time ? I think it's pretty low.
is it not that lightning always hit the highest point in the area. there are trees right and left and they are higher.
I second what Legolas said the movements of the persons look staged for me

Edit: low not high

yea it's fake, imo. The shadows or residue mask on the ground jitters and moves in ways that cannot be attributed to the general artefacting, probably due to masking his legs out. What would account for the burnt residue on the ground if it was a lightning and not merely an CG-effect?

I thought it looked real. I noticed that as he stood up both times to walk away that he was holding his right ear and as mentioned before, the burnt spots on the pavement. I was struck by lightning in 03 and was deaf in one ear for 3 days with ringing in the other for 7 days. Also the silhouette of a Yew tree that was in front of me was burnt into my retinas, I could see the shape of this tree with eyes opened or closed for 2 days and closed for an additional day.

Perhaps his nylon jogging suit produced too much static :P

:) This video was made in China.

Yes Anart the Chinese security cameras are very clear specially with the night range. (I worked in this area and imported CCTV from China)
But as my friend on FB said it seams to be Fake, because of the shadow of the Lantern in moment of lightning, it is permanently there. :)

We think of lightning strikes as fatal, but nine out of ten victims actually survive the hit. However, the victim's experiences, memories, and the physical consequences last a lifetime. From the one-time victim ... to the woman who faced lightning three times ... to the person who believes being struck cured her crippling injury. Lightning changes lives forever.

CURED BY LIGHTNING
Death and destruction. One thing we never expect from lightning is a cure. But in the eyes of Betty Galvano, that's exactly what happened. She was hit by lightning, survived - and perhaps even cured. In central Florida, known as the "lightning capitol of the country", there are over one million cloud-to-ground strikes every year - twice as many as any other state. In 1994, lightning came out of the clear blue sky, and into the body of Betty Galvano of Fort Myers, Florida. The result was astounding: it cured Betty of the pain that was caused by a hip that was broken the year before. We'll meet Betty, who demonstrates how the lightning came through the kitchen window and struck her on the leg. We'll also meet Betty's personal doctor, who claims there's no medical explanation for Betty's miraculous cure.

It cures?! :scared: I have watched and heard about the above story on TV a long time ago. At the time, I thought "wow"...
I think it is very well possible that the person in the video has survived from those 2 thunderbolts. :P
